Common Electronic Data Interchange (CEDI) Delay in Delivery of Durable Medical Equipment Medicare Administrative Contractor (DME MAC) Files and CEDI Outage
This morning, September 15, 2009, National Government Services, CEDI is experiencing a delay in delivering files produced by the DME MACs with their cycles that ran on Monday, September 14, 2009. This includes the DME MAC RPT files and Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs).
Due to the volume of Trading Partners connecting to and attempting to retrieve these files, the CEDI Gateway must be brought down in order to resolve this issue. CEDI Trading Partners will be unable to connect and exchange transactions with CEDI during this time.
CEDI is working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Once this has been resolved, CEDI will resume all processing and all RPT files and ERAs produced by the DME MACs will be returned to Trading Partner.
CEDI will send a follow up Listserv when this issue has been resolved.
Please contact the CEDI Help Desk at 866-311-9184 or by e-mail at ngs.cedihelpdesk@wellpoint.com if you have questions.
Thank you,
