| April 13, 2009 Important Information Regarding Availability of Internet-Based PECOS (CMS Message 2009-04-13)The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will be making changes at its Data Center that will affect the Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership System (PECOS). As a result, physicians, non-physician practitioners, and provider and supplier organizations will not be able to access Internet-based PECOS from 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Thursday, April 16, until 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time on Monday, April 20.
