| Therapeutic Shoes for Diabetes - Physician Education Letter The Jurisdiction B DME MAC recently published an article summarizing the findings of an audit of suppliers providing therapeutic shoes and inserts. The article provided detailed guidance for suppliers on the documentation that is required for coverage of these items. The DME MAC has developed a letter that may be used by suppliers to help educate physicians on their responsibilities for documenting the medical need for therapeutic shoes and inserts.
