| Knee Orthoses – Notification of Prepayment ReviewJuly 2009 National Government Services, the Jurisdiction B Medical Review Department will be initiating a widespread prepayment medical review of random claims for knee orthoses. The HCPCS codes included in this review are L1820, L1830, L1832, L1843, L1845, and L1846. A widespread review is a random selection of submitted claims based on a particular service from multiple suppliers which are reviewed for medical necessity.
