| Nebulizer Drug (J7626) – Prepayment Review UpdateJuly 2009 National Government Services, the Jurisdiction B Medical Review Department recently conducted a prepayment review for HCPCS J7626. This is a widespread random selection of submitted claims based on a targeted service(s) from multiple suppliers which are reviewed for medical necessity. A total of 15,830 target services were reviewed and 10,542 (66.6%) of that total were denied. In this review, a wide variety of issues were found.
