Jurisdiction B News: Claim Status Inquiry (CSI) Passwords

 
 
 
 
Claim Status Inquiry (CSI) Passwords Claim Status Inquiry (CSI) allows Durable Medical Equipment (DME) suppliers to view the status of all their claims as they appear in the Jurisdiction B DME MAC processing system.  CSI also allows suppliers to check beneficiary eligibility information and the status of Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMNs) and DME Information Forms (DIFs). Suppliers using CSI should be aware that the passwords for CSI users will expire as follows:CSI ID and password not used within 30 days will be revoked. Jurisdiction B DME MAC CSI users must then contact the EDI Help Desk at 1-877-273-4334 to have their password reinstated. CSI ID and password not used within 60 days will be terminated. Jurisdiction B DME MAC CSI users must complete a new CSI enrollment form for access.  The CSI enrollment form is available at:  http://www.ngsmedicare.com/content.aspx?CatID=3&DOCID=161CSI password that is lost or forgotten before the 30 day timeframe, suppliers can use the automated feature available in CSI to reset the password.  Detailed information on how to use the automated password reset feature is available in the CSI manual at:    http://www.ngsmedicare.com/content.aspx?CatID=3&DOCID=173.  Suppliers may also contact the EDI Help Desk at 877-273-4334 to have their password reset.  If you are not currently using CSI and would like more information, visit our Web site at:  http://www.ngsmedicare.com/content.aspx?CatID=3&DOCID=161
