| Make a New Year s Resolution Go Paperless! With today s electronic capabilities, companies now have the opportunity to reduce costs, save time and help the environment by going paperless. This can be achieved by using Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs) and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) with National Government Services the Jurisdiction B DME MAC. By using ERAs, your remittances can be downloaded to your computer, stored electronically and with most systems can also be posted automatically. ERAs will drastically reduce the time you currently spend posting the information manually and will help the environment by eliminating the need for paper copies and storage space. With EFTs, your payments will be automatically deposited into the bank account you designate. This completely eliminates unnecessary trips to the bank and allows you access to your money faster because there is no mail time involved. Note: EFT is now mandatory and all DME MAC suppliers should be receiving their payments electronically.
