DME MAC Jurisdiction C NewsCMS Seeks Public Comment on Extending the Effective Date of the DMEPOS Competitive Bidding Interim Final Rule: The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a notice seeking comment on a contemplated delay of 60 days in the effective date of the interim final rule entitled "Medicare Program; Changes to the Competitive Acquisition of Certain Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics and Supplies (DMEPOS) by Certain Provisions of the Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008 (MIPPA)."
