| February 25, 2009 Ask-the-Contractor Teleconference National Government Services, the Jurisdiction B Durable Medical Equipment Medicare Administrative Contractor (DME MAC) will conduct an Ask-the-Contractor Teleconference for Medicare fee-for-service DMEPOS suppliers. This call will take place on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 2:00 pm eastern standard time. During this Ask-the-Contractor Teleconference the following information will be provided: Stamped Signatures updatesAccreditation requirementsNew modifiers clarificationMedical policy updatesElectronic data interchange updatesUpcoming education opportunitiesGuidance on how to the address the top ten claim denials and rejects The teleconference will consist of a brief Medicare Update presentation followed by a question and answer session. During the question and answer session there will be representation from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services to help assist with Accreditation questions. This teleconference will be approximately 1 hour. DMEPOS suppliers are encouraged to sign up for this free educational opportunity. Participants will earn 1 Medicare University credit for attending this session.
