| Certificate of Medical Necessity/Durable Medical Equipment Information Form Status Now Available in Claim Status Inquiry! The Certificate of Medical Necessity (CMN) and DME Information Form (DIF) Status inquiry option became available through Claim Status Inquiry (CSI) October 5, 2009. This option allows CSIâ€enrolled suppliers and their authorized billing agents to access CMN/DIF information in the local processing system for specified beneficiaries. A guide is available to assist CSI-enrolled users with understanding the new screens.
