| Visual Enhancements Coming to LCD Portion of NGSMedicare.com Web Site DMEPOS suppliers soon will notice visual improvements to the NGSMedicare.com Web site. The changes are part of an overall site revitalization by National Government Services. When completed later this month, the revamped site will include an upgraded design, better usability, and easier navigation. Some of the site s current content has been restructured and the overall site will have a more consistent look and feel. For DMEPOS suppliers, the changes involve additional improvements to the local coverage determination (LCD) interface within the site. The interface features a larger viewing area with information on a single line instead of on multiple lines. As a reminder, the NGSMedicare.com site offers access only to active and draft LCD policies and articles; archived policies and articles must be accessed via the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Medicare Coverage Database (MCD). For instructions on locating and searching archived policies, please refer to the National Government Services Web site at: http://www.ngsmedicare.com/ngsmedicare/DMEMAC/Coverage/ArchiveSIAs/IndexArchiveSIA.aspx All other content relative to LCDs will remain the same. The revitalized NGSMedicare.com site will launch in October 2009. To continue meeting the needs of the provider community, National Government Services encourages providers to complete the ForeSee Results Survey on our Web site when prompted. We value the opinion of the provider community and will utilize the information received to continue to make enhancements to the site. |
