| Comprehensive Error Rate Testing Program ResultsAttention All Providers: The Comprehensive Error Rate Testing (CERT) program is designed to determine if providers are coding Medicare claims appropriately and if the contractors are processing and paying these claims correctly. This teleconference will help you gain a better understanding of what the CERT program is all about and why reducing the error rate is so important to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and National Government Services. On September 23, 2009, National Government Services will provide a session discussing various CERT errors by bill type for each region and type of contract, along with some suggested documentation and helpful hints to reduce the CERT Error Rate. Choose your contract (Part A, Part B, DME) and your state (Region) and select Go. Select the Calendar of Events option under the Education and Support category (on dark blue navigation bar).
