Proof of Delivery: The January 13, 2009 article entitled "Proof of Delivery" has been revised to remove the instructions indicating that for items delivered via a commercial shipping service such as FedEx or UPS, a beneficiary or designee signature must be obtained. Although a signature is not required, the shipping service s tracking slip should reference each individual package, the delivery address, the corresponding package identification number given by the shipping service, and if possible, the date delivered.
